Teaching the Beloveds

In my early thirties I made a complete career change to become a special education teacher.  As I plowed through my coursework a professor mentioned that teaching is a gift, you either have it or you don’t.  I knew I had it but what I didn’t know is that I would learn far more from these students than I could ever teach them.
